The Year of Writing Dangerously

One of my game changing habits I want to adopt is to write more often. Now that I am fully retired I will have the time to do so. I believe I will have time because I retired to actually go back to school full time ( 4 days a week from 2 to 8PM). I tried doing both in the Fall of 2021, but my quality of life suffered, not to mention my family barely saw me. When they did I was usually in transit from working remotely and prepping for school, going to school and then going to bed. Not much of a life for 6 months.

But that's the way I roll. Chronic over-achiever, always pushing the envelope of my abilities. I remember doing it like 40 years ago and was successful in completing my degree requirements in record time. But as with everything, there is a price to pay. Even in my older, yet wiser persona I still had to try doing both.

But that's not the situation now. I will have time for school and time for..... anything else I want to do. Main thing I want to achieve this year is to get published, somehow and somewhere. I once had a Letter to the Editor published in a major business newspaper. Seeing your name and ideas in print is highly intoxicating. I cannot wait to see what happens this year. -- TTFN
